Leicestershire PCC results: Rupert Matthews re-elected

Rupert Matthews has been re-elected as police and crime commissioner (PCC) for Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Conservative incumbent won against candidates from Labour, Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and One Leicester.

He successfully defended the position he won in 2021.

He secured 62,280 votes, just 860 ahead of Labour's Rory Palmer, with the voter turnout across the whole of the two counties at 21.7%.
