New Farnley man who died after pub attack named by police

A man who died after a "serious assault" at a pub in Leeds at the weekend has been named by police.

Robert Hiscoe, 37, of New Farnley, died in hospital after being assaulted at The Butterbowl pub in Butterbowl Drive in the early hours of Sunday.

Nathaniel Philip, 35, of no fixed address, has been charged with his murder.

Mr Philip is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday 9 May, West Yorkshire Police said.
