Man charged over Leeds nightclub glass attack

A man was attacked at Revolucion de Cuba in Leeds on 27 December, police said

A man has been charged after another man was attacked with a glass at a Leeds nightclub, police said.

The 32-year-old victim suffered serious eye injuries in the incident at Revolucion de Cuba in the city centre at about 00:30 GMT on 27 December, West Yorkshire Police said.

Gareth Dean, 37, of Elm Tree Close, Leeds, appeared before magistrates earlier charged with GBH with intent.

Mr Dean is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 1 February.
