Lancashire: Police find man's remains on industrial estate

A man's skeletal remains have been found on an industrial estate, police have said.

Lancashire Police said the remains were found on Marsh House Lane Industrial Estate in Darwen "over recent days".

The force added that it could be several months before the remains are formally identified.

Police said the "family of the man who we believe this to be have been informed" and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesperson added: "Our thoughts are with [the family] at this sad time."
