Totnes crash: Boy, 3, killed in head-on collision

A three-year-old boy has died in a head-on crash on a country road.

The boy was in the car being driven by his mother when their Volvo collided with a Honda near Totnes, Devon, at about 12:20 GMT.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The boy's mother was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth after suffering a broken arm. Two men who were in the Honda were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road between Fork Cross and Folaton Gate was closed for investigation work.
