Firefighters rescue swan from frozen Cambridgeshire lake
Cambridgeshire Fire and RescueFire crews have used an inflatable path to rescue a swan stuck in a frozen lake.
Firefighters from Dogsthorpe near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire carried out the rescue at Thorpe Meadows on Saturday morning.
Posting on social media, the crew said the swan was becoming tired and distressed.
They used an ice rescue path to free the bird and took it to another part of the lake and let it go.
