Bristol: Latest images of £350m regeneration revealed
Legal & General A financial firm has released detailed images of what their planned £350m redevelopment complex will look like.
Legal and General (L&G) plan to transform the disused space near Temple Meads into an urban district.
Temple Island is part of the wider Temple Quarter and St Philips regeneration, which could create 22,000 jobs and up to 10,000 homes.
The plans include two office blocks, 500 new homes, a hotel and conference centre.
L&G has revealed updated artist's impression images for how its Temple Island regeneration project could look, ahead of a series of community showcase events happening this week.
Legal & General Ben Rodgers, Head of Regeneration for L&G, said: "We're extremely grateful to everyone who has taken the time to tell us what they think about the project so far.
"It's helped us design a new landmark on this prominent city centre site that works with the grain of Bristol's architecture.
"We're now hoping that more people will engage with our next round of showcase events as well as online before we submit a planning application for a vibrant new district, offering major employment opportunities and much-needed homes, later this year."
Residents can find out more about the development by visiting one of the events between 14-16 March at Totterdown Tesco Car Park and near the Harbourside fountains in central Bristol.
