Police pursuing a car travelling at about 120mph have appealed for help after they "lost sight" of the vehicle.

Officers began tailing a red Ford Fiesta being driven dangerously on the A11 between Thetford and Larling just before 21:30 GMT on Wednesday, Norfolk Police said.

The driver switched off its headlights when police activated their blue lights and sirens and the car also undertook another vehicle at speed. Officers then lost sight of it on the B1111 Watton Road at Larling.

"The Fiesta passed a number of motorists on the A11 and we are asking anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam footage to get in touch," police said.

They also encouraged the driver to "come forward and speak with us".
