Two arrests in Christmas Day murder investigation
West Midlands PoliceTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of murder over the death of a father-of-two who was stabbed in Wolverhampton on Christmas Day.
Trey Johnson, 30, was found seriously injured on Burcot Avenue just after 03:30 GMT on 25 December and died at the scene.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, have been arrested and remained in custody to be questioned, said West Midlands Police.
Johnson's family were being kept up to date with the latest developments in the case, added a force spokesperson, who urged anyone with information about his death to get in touch.
His family previously described him as someone who "would do anything for anyone. His smile, his love and his energy is infectious and would brighten up the room when he walks into it".
"He was a loving father-of-two. He was a good man, a good son, that did everything and more for his family," they continued.
