Commuters clash their umbrellas as they huddle into one of the capital's few open stations on Wednesday, Farringdon on the Elizabeth line.
Westminster Bridge was chock-a-block with morning commuters, with many forced to find alternatives to get to work

A dispute between transport union RMT and Transport for London resulted in a five-day Tube strike, causing travel chaos.

The union rejected a 3.4% pay offer and is campaigning for a cut in its members' 35-hour week, which Transport for London (TfL) has said is unaffordable.

Frustrated commuters opted for buses and bikes to get around London.

The Elizabeth line and the Overground were still working during the strike, which ended on Friday morning.
