Burglars steal presents from under Christmas tree
BBCPresents have been stolen from under a family's Christmas tree during a burglary.
Merseyside Police said the house was broken into just before 03:00 GMT in Fairclough Crescent, Haydock, on Saturday.
The force said keys and a handbag were also stolen during the break-in. There were also nine other attempted burglaries in the surrounding area between 03:00 and 03:30 GMT.
A 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man have been arrested.
