A perfectly-timed picture of a rabbit during sunset has taken the top prize in a wildlife photography contest.

The image of the furry creature was taken by Vai Meng Chan in Romford, east London.

His snap jumped over the competition in the Essex Wildlife Trust's competition for 2025, which attracted hundreds of entries.

There were five more winners in categories ranging from "gardener's world" and "coastal captures".
