A driver has died after his car crashed into a house.

Lancashire Police said a Ford Kruga left Galligreaves Way, Blackburn, on 27 December and hit the property just before 17:30 GMT.

The force said the male driver, in his 40s, got out of the car "but then collapsed and sadly later died" in a nearby street.

Officers want to trace a woman who saw him in Heatley Close just after the crash.

A police spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time".
