A woman died after a crash on the A10 near Ely

A woman in her 30s has died after a crash between a car and a bus.

Police and paramedics were called to the A10 near Ely, Cambridgeshire, at 12:25 GMT on Sunday after a white Fiat Punto and a white single decker bus were involved in a collision.

The driver of the Fiat died at the scene and a passenger, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Nobody on the coach was injured, Cambridgeshire Police said.
