Woman seriously injured after being hit by car

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was left fighting for her life after she was hit by a car in Swanley.

The woman was struck by the car in London Road, near to the junction with Oliver Road, at about 21:15 GMT on Friday.

The woman was taken to a hospital in London and remains in a critical condition, Kent Police said.

Anyone who saw the incident, or has footage of it, is asked to get in contact with the force's serious collision investigation unit.
