The review could be completed by mid-December

An independent review into the tendering process for a bathing pool site could be completed by the second week of December.

Campaign groups have been unhappy at a the decision to grant the lease of the Havre des Pas Lido to a private company instead of a group set up for the purpose.

In documents submitted by the Minister of Infrastructure on Tuesday, deputy David Warr said the States of Jersey had been asked to consider reversing the decision and that debate was due to be heard on 25 November.

Constable Andy Jehan has asked for the debate to be delayed until the review is finished so ministers would be able to make a more informed decision.
