A seven-year-old boy from Birmingham has published an anthology.

Titled, Our Stories, Our World, Jayce has put together 20 illustrated short stories and poems written by 20 children aged six to 10 from underrepresented backgrounds across the UK.

The BBC Blue Peter Gold badge recipient said the collection has been picked to celebrate diversity, imagination and inclusion.

A public launch event will be held 11 April at the Library of Birmingham.

Jayce said: "This book shows that children from every background have stories worth sharing.

"When children see themselves in books, they fall in love with reading."

Three years ago he published his first book, Jayce's Sweet Tooth, about a boy who cannot resist candy and became a member of Mensa with an IQ of 150 before he turned five.

He went on to publish two more books and received a British Citizen Youth Award, Medal of Honour, which recognises the impact he had made on his community.
