Three people have denied murdering a man who died after he was allegedly stabbed in Market Rasen.

Danny Fowler, 37, died after an incident in Union Street on 12 March.

Ryan Townhill, 29, of no fixed address, Martin Doocey, 55, of Waverley Court, Queen Street, Market Rasen, and Shannon Doocey, 31, of Mill Street, Market Rasen, all pleaded not guilty to murder during a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court earlier.

All three were remanded into custody, with a trial scheduled to start on 14 September.

Shannon Doocey also denied a second charge of having an offensive weapon, namely a broken wine bottle, and Townhill also pleaded not guilty to a charge of possessing a bladed article.

A fourth defendant, Joshua Wood, 23, of Malvern Road, Scunthorpe, also appeared charged with threatening with an offensive weapon in a public place in connection with the incident.

No plea was entered to the charge and Wood was granted bail on condition he resides at an address in Newquay, Cornwall, reports to a local police station and does not enter Market Rasen.
