Mabel was taken from a property in Coney Weston on Tuesday, police said.

A stolen Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has been reunited with her owner, but her five-week-old puppies remain missing.

Mabel was taken along with her litter from a property in Thetford Road, in Coney Weston, Suffolk, on Tuesday.

Suffolk Police said access was gained after a front door window was damaged between 12:50 GMT and 14:50.

Mabel was later found in a garden in Wouldham, Kent. She was reunited with her owner, Simone Devorty, who is appealing for information about the puppies.

Suffolk Police previously said that anyone who had been offered an adult Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and four puppies should contact them.

The force believed the house was not targeted for the pets and said a cream jewellery box had also been taken from the property.
