Jersey's government has issued a tender to find a contractor to complete the work at the Enid Quenault Health and Wellbeing Centre

Maintenance work on a health centre's roof is set to take place in 2026, government officials said.

A tender to find a contractor for the work at Enid Quenault Health and Wellbeing Centre, which opened in 2023 at the former Les Quennevais secondary school, has been issued by the Government of Jersey.

It said the project, due to take place in the summer, would include overlaying the existing asphalt roof with a new membrane along with bird-proofing work.

The government said the work would be classed as a major project as it was expected to take more than 30 days to be completed, but patients and staff would be able to access the £15m building throughout the process.

The centre runs outpatient services which were previously operated at Overdale Hospital, which has been demolished to make way for Jersey's new acute hospital.
