A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of exposing himself and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Wiltshire Police said the teenager was walking along Queens Drive, towards Swindon town centre, at about 12:45 GMT on 12 February when a man on a mobility scooter pulled up beside her.

The man then exposed himself to the girl before indecently assaulting her, police added.

The force said the arrested man has since been released on conditional bail, while investigations continue.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or may have relevant dash cam footage is encouraged to contact the force.
