Stolen vehicles worth combined £1.8m recovered

West Midlands PCCA police crackdown has led to the recovery of more than 200 stolen vehicles worth a combined £1.8m.
They include 29 high power cars, amongst them a Porsche 911 GT3 valued at £140,000, which are worth an overall £500,000.
The operation, which began in May, was funded by Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Simon Foster.
Foster said the seizures were a "testament to the hard work and dedication of our officers".
Between 2021 and 2023 vehicle thefts in the West Midlands were on the rise, growing by 35%, but recently published data showed had since fallen by 10%.
