Bomb squad attends 'unexploded ordnance' on beach
PA MediaA bomb disposal team has been called to reports of unexploded ordnance on the north Essex coast.
The discovery was made near Vista Road in Clacton-on-Sea, about 500m (1,640ft) from the resort's historical pier.
A HM Coastguard spokesman said two rescue teams were sent to the scene at about 13:05 BST.
Essex Police, whose officers are also in attendance, has been contacted for comment.
