Road closed after wall collapses
Westmorland and Furness CouncilA road in South Cumbria has been closed after a wall collapsed.
Westmorland and Furness Council said a section of the B5282 at Park Road, south of Milnthorpe, had been shut after the collapse in the early hours of Tuesday.
The council said there was "a significant amount of debris" to clear, with road signs installed on routes ahead of the affected section.
A spokesperson said the local authority hoped to reopen the road "at some point" during the evening, with one lane and temporary traffic lights in place.
