A 75-year-old woman has denied poisoning her neighbour with ant killer.

Sally Beaney, of Netley Abbey, Hampshire, is accused of using the substance to "injure, aggrieve or annoy" Matthew Perry on 13 October 2025.

Appearing at Southampton Crown Court on Wednesday, Beaney pleaded not guilty to administering a poison.

She was granted unconditional bail until her trial, set for 17 March 2027.
