A stretch of dual carriageway has been closed after a collision near Northampton.

There was traffic queueing for about two miles travelling eastbound as a result of the crash on the A45 between the A428 turn-off and the A508 junction.

Northamptonshire Police said at about 13:30 GMT that the road was closed eastbound.

National Highways said there were delays of about 30 minutes.
