Police investigating an incident which left a man in a critical condition have released CCTV images as part of an appeal for information.

Lincolnshire Police said the man, who remains in hospital, was last seen walking along Lincoln High Street on 19 March at 15:36 GMT.

Officers have released images of the man to "prompt memories and encourage anyone who saw something" to help them establish how he became injured.

Three men, aged 31, 38 and 43, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.

The force believes the man visited the South Park convenience shop and continued along the High Street before turning onto Tealby Street.

He may also have travelled through Sidney Street, Bargate, and Craven Street.

Officers said they were particularly interested in anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage capturing "anything unusual or suspicious".
