Place of worship targeted with faeces and threats
GoogleDog faeces and a threatening letter have been delivered to a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, police have said.
The place of worship in Mart Road, Minehead, had its letterbox damaged with paint during the incident, which police believe happened between Sunday and Tuesday.
Avon and Somerset Police said a vehicle was also damaged with symbols associated with the far right overnight on Tuesday.
The force said officers were carrying out uniformed patrols to reassure the community and investigate religiously-aggravated criminal damage. Witnesses and anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the Mart Road or Glenmore Road area were asked to get in touch with police.
