Man arrested after body found near main road

A man has been arrested after a body was found near the A18 in North Lincolnshire.

Officers received a report at 09:45 BST on Saturday that a dead man had been discovered near Melton Road in Wrawby.

A 51-year-old man has since been detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and other driving offences.

Humberside Police said he remains in custody.

The force said the dead man had been identified and his family had been informed.

The force asked anyone with dashcam footage of the area between 23:30 on Friday and 09:45 on Saturday to contact them.
