Torvill and Dean light up family's final display
Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean provided the icing on the cake as a Nottinghamshire couple switched on their Christmas lights display for the final time.
After raising more than £250,000 for charity through their annual shows at their home in Laurel Crescent, Nuthall, Tony and Wendy Swift sought a special way to mark their last dance.
The Olympic legends duly obliged, opening the festive decorations in front of a crowd of well-wishers on Sunday.
Over the years the Swifts have used their Christmas lights to raise money for Hayward House Hospice and the children's charity When You Wish Upon a Star.

When it was announced Torvill and Dean would switch on the lights, the Swifts said they felt "honoured" to have the sporting heroes turn up and help out.
They announced their 2025 show would be their last when unveiling their efforts the previous year, having said they wanted to go out on a high.
