Guernsey tourism recommendations at all-time high
BBCVisitors who came to Guernsey in 2025 are more likely to recommend the island to family or friends compared to previous years.
The Guernsey Travel and Visitor Accommodation Bulletin revealed that since 2023 the number of recommendations had increased, with 2025 being an all-time high.
Some of the visitor comments mentioned it was a "peaceful and lovely place to visit" and had a "reliable bus service".
The report also revealed the total number of visitors that stayed in Guernsey for more than one night had also increased compared to 2024.
Clare Crowson, co-chair of the Tourism Management Board said the overall growth seen in the report was something she was really happy with.
With new initiatives on the island, like the upcoming British Airways link and the Big Eat festival, she said: "It seems to be we're in a real positive position moving forward."
The score that measures if people would recommend Guernsey now matches the one in Jersey.
She said: "It just shows there is so much to offer on the island, and the experiences people are having on the island are a lot higher than it's ever been."
Alongside an increase in visitors, the number of passengers has also increased from late 2024 to late 2025.
Including ferry, yacht and plane, passengers departing Guernsey increased by nearly 10%.
The data revealed the most popular mode of transport for passengers was plane and remained steady during 2025.

Figures showed there were more day trip visitors, who travelled by plane or ferry, compared to the same time in the previous year.
With nearly half of these day trip visitors coming to see family and friends, there was a 30% increase in 2025.
The majority of all the visitors who were coming to Guernsey (day trip and overnight) were from France.
Visitors from France in 2025 increased by more than 60% compared to 2024, the figures showed.
For next year's reports, Crowson said she hoped to see more of the increasing day trips turn into more over overnight stays.
She said: "It's a bigger contribution to the economy if they're staying two or three nights."
