A 4x4 car was driven into a house in a cul-de-sac in Leicester.

Leicestershire Police said a vehicle had damaged a property on Forbes Close, off Tournament Road in Braunstone Frith, at about 23:45 BST on Saturday.

The force said a number of people then left the car, and caused further damage to the house and nearby vehicles before leaving. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

Forbes Close has been cordoned off by police and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service has attended to assess the damage to the property.
