Woman charged after 2024 fatal crash in Port Glasgow

A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in Inverclyde in 2024.

Scott McFadden, 38, was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf which struck an unoccupied parked car on Clune Brae, Port Glasgow, on 16 December. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 52-year-old woman police said was driving the vehicle was arrested in December 2024 and released pending further inquiries.

Police said she was charged in connection with the incident on Wednesday and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
