Murder investigation after man is hit by a car

A murder investigation has been launched after the death of a man who was hit by a car.

Police were called to the incident in Chapel Close, Willesden, north-west London, at about 12:45 GMT on Wednesday.

Ruben Nunes, 34, from Peterborough, died at the scene, the Met Police said.

A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody.
