Firefighters have tackled a large blaze at a vehicle repair shop after it caught fire in the early hours of Friday.

North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (NYFR) two crews initially attended the fire at JD Automotive Filey LTD, near Primrose Valley, at about 00:15 GMT.

A spokesperson said the repair shop was found to contain several cylinders and vehicles, resulting in four extra appliances and a water bowser being dispatched.
