Eleven candidates are set to contest a by-election for one seat in The States of Guernsey.

They are Luke Graham, Rob Harnish, Sam Haskins, Julie-Anne Headington (Forward Guernsey), Ross Le Brun, Carl Meerveld, Tamara Menteshvili, Stephen Rouxel, Nikki Symons, Andy Taylor and Jonathan Wilson.

The by-election is taking place on 29 April.

People have until 25 April to sign up to be on the electoral roll, but voters who signed up for last year's general election are still on the roll.

Polls will open at 08:00 BST on 29 April and close 12 hours later.

Counting will start immediately after polls close at the David Ferguson Hall in Beau Sejour and officials estimate a result will be announced before midnight.
