Roads shut near village school for maintenance work
BBCTwo roads near a village primary school will be closed off to allow for resurfacing work.
The roadworks will affect St Mary's Street and Southoe Road in Farcet, on the outskirts of Peterborough.
Cambridgeshire County Council said it had scheduled the works to take advantage of the Easter holiday. Diversions will be put in place.
It is part of a series of council-organised roadworks which will take place in the village over the next 18 months.
St Mary's Street will be shut for three days from 1 April - with Southoe Road closed for one day, 1 April.
Both stretches will see diversions in place between 09:30 and 14:30.
A council spokesperson said: "Work to resurface Mary's Street and Southoe Road in Farcet is due to take place over the next two weeks, with one road closure in place at a time.
"The work has been intentionally scheduled for during the school holiday to minimise the disruption caused.
"We will be closing other roads in Farcet to resurface footpaths at some point over the next 18 months, but as of yet, no confirmed dates or permits are in place."
More details can be found on the council's roadwork and traffic information map.
