Two men have been arrested and charged with involvement in serious and organised crime and drug supply after a raid in South Lanarkshire.

The men, both aged 30, were arrested in Cambuslang as part of a large-scale operation by Police Scotland's Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit.

Police said the raid was part of Operation Venetic - a Europe-wide operation "to identify and dismantle organised crime groups utilising encrypted devices".

The men are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later.
