A major road has been reopened after a serious crash.

Wiltshire Police were called to the collision between a red Seat Ibiza Sport car and some parked cars on the A30 at Ludwell at around 02:15 GMT on Thursday.

The driver of the Seat, a man in his 20s, was later taken to hospital with injuries which are not though to be life-threatening.

Closed between Dennis Lane and the B3081 Higher Blandford Road for several hours to allow for recovery work, the road has since reopened.
