Travel in the South West has been affected by flooding after heavy rain on Friday.

Great Western Railway (GWR) said a fallen tree on the rail line between Liskeard and Bodmin Parkway had led to the timetabled trains between Plymouth and Truro being delayed.

The train firm said the service between Liskeard and Looe had been cancelled due to flooding and the line at Roche had been flooded by heavy rain so the service between Par and Newquay had also been suspended.

GWR said it was working with Network Rail to return to running the normal timetable. Roads were also subject to flooding across the region.
