Man appears in court charged with woman's murder

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman who was found dead at a house in West Yorkshire.

David Barraclough, 45, of Ken Churchill Drive in Horbury appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court charged with Carolann Barraclough's murder.

Carolann, 37, was found dead at a house in Ken Churchill Drive on Thursday, by police who were called to concerns about her safety.

Barraclough was further remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday.
