Firefighters will take Santa and his sleigh across Lincolnshire to raise money for charity.

Last year, crews raised more than £32,000, with most of the money going to the Fire Fighters Charity.

Stations across the county will also open their doors and hold special fundraising events.

Cllr Alex McGonigle, executive councillor for fire and rescue, said: "Our crews did such an amazing job last year, helping to spread Christmas joy in support of causes that mean so much to our firefighters."

He added: "Similarly, our communities are fantastic in getting involved and supporting these events, ultimately making it all possible.

"There's lots of Christmas fun to be had this year, and I'm already looking forward to seeing all the great pictures and videos across our stations socials on the run up to Christmas."

Events kick off in Boston on 8 December with the Santa sleigh and end in Metheringham on 21 December.

More details can be found on Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue's social media feeds.
