Four released from hospital after arson attack

Five people were in the house when the fire started in the early hours of Wednesday

Four of the five people who were injured in an arson attack in Dublin on New Year's Eve have been discharged from hospital.

The victims caught up in the attack at a house in Creston Avenue in Finglas included three teenagers, a woman in her 20s and a woman in her 40s.

The older woman sustained serious injuries, along with a teenage boy.

The woman in her 40s is the only person still in hospital, where her condition is described as stable.

Gardaí (Irish police) want to hear from any witness who saw anything suspicious in Creston Avenue between midnight and 1:00 local time on 31 December.
