Drivers are experiencing delays on a part of the M25 after a vehicle fire

Traffic has come to a standstill on part of the M25 after a hay lorry caught fire.

National Highways said vehicles had been stopped anti-clockwise between junction 25 Enfield and junction 24 Potters Bar in Hertfordshire.

A spokesperson urged drivers to be patient while attempts were made to get traffic moving again "soon".

The incident was posted by National Highways at about 05.50 BST and drivers have been warned of 60 minutes of delays and seven miles (11km) of congestion.
