Crews are tackling a fire in Newport involving about 100 tonnes of hay.

Appliances from Newport and Telford were called to a field on Moorfield Lane at 01:39 BST on Wednesday.

One crew remains at the site, and Shropshire Fire and Rescue said the cause was not known.

No casualties have been reported, it added.
