Man dies after quad bike overturns

A man has died in a quad bike crash in North Yorkshire.

Emergency services were called to Dales Wood, near Brotherton, at about 16:20 GMT on Saturday after the 52-year-old was found unresponsive next to the overturned bike.

North Yorkshire Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics and the public.

The force has asked witnesses who saw the man riding a green Honda quad bike in he area between 15:00 and 16:00 to get in touch.
