Man charged with sexual assault of teenage girl

A man has been charged with exposure and sexual assault after an incident on a coach.

Warwickshire Police said it was called to the M6 junction 1 services on Wednesday to a report of a sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl, and a suspect was arrested.

Walid Abdulbasit, a Libyan national living on South Road in Erdington, has been charged with the offences and remanded into custody, the force said.

He will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday.
