A seafront home with a grass-covered roof is attracting interest from potential buyers around the world, according to estate agents.

Cwm Mawr, in Pembrokeshire - which was dubbed Wales' Home of the Year by Rightmove in 2021 - is on the market for offers in excess of £4.5m.

It sits within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park above Pen-y-Cwm beach and has views across St Brides Bay and the surrounding coastline.

"We're expecting a number of potential buyers to fly into Haverfordwest airstrip to view the property," said Nigel Salmon of Fine & Country West Wales, who described significant international interest in the listing.

The property sits within 18 private acres

Cwm Mawr, which translates into English as "Big Valley", was built in 2021.

While the house sits above the beach, it does not include private beachfront ownership.

However, Salmon said the current owner swam in the sea almost every day.

Salmon said it was rare to find a modern house by the sea in this part of Wales.
