Hundreds of goats killed in barn fire

Hundreds of goats have died following a blaze at a barn in East Yorkshire, firefighters said.

Crews were called to Marsh Road, Ottringham, at about 16:45 BST on Monday.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service confirmed on its website about 800 animals had died.

The two newborns have come on leaps and bounds since being abandoned in freezing cold temperatures.

Both Lincolnshire and Humberside fire services have warned about being careful near frozen lakes.
