'Bottle containing accelerant' thrown at flat

A "bottle containing an accelerant" was thrown at the window of a flat in a suspected arson attack, police have said.

Nobody was in the property on Bodmin Road in Plymouth at the time, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

However, the attack at 02:00 BST on Friday caused external damage.

The force has launched an appeal and urged any witnesses or those with footage to get in touch.
